Follow-up Comment #1:
Info does its job right. Here's what happens: The node has no lookup string,
therefore "(emacs)" is taken as the one to look for. It is handled as a
regular expression (by default), so it matches exactly the word Emacs,
therefore the cursor is positioned at its beginning. If you switch to literal
matching before hitting f RET, you'll see the cursor positioned at the top of
the page (because no literal match is found).
I could, of course, force literal matching when looking for xrefs, but I'm not
sure if it will always be the right thing to do. Wdyt?
