No, it will not work:
It is not reliable to use ‘@verb’ inside other Texinfo constructs.
(Info node (texinfo)@verb.)
The implementation of @verb relies on changing the catcodes of { and }
but { and } are read as grouping characters when the argument to @lm is
read in your example and therefore won't work to delimit the argument
to @verb.
