Yes, but not right now, I think that it would be better to let some time
pass, such that it is unlikely that the file would be seen with an old
Info reader.  I checked that the support in the console Info reader
dates back from about 2014, which is old enough in my opinion, but if
the Emacs Info reader was fixed now, waiting for some years (5?) may be
better, in my opinion.

Here is what we have about missing features in the Emacs Info reader in
the Texinfo TODO:

  - Info format - Get Emacs to support : in index entries by changing
    the interpretation of index nodes slightly.  See
