Yes. Libtool, when asked to install libraries in $(libdir), will install the DLLs in $(libdir)/../bin — in the expectation that this directory will be listed in $PATH when the libraries are used. How about making sure that, in the case of texi2any, where libraries are installed in $(prefix)/lib/texi2any/lib/, $PATH contains the directory $(prefix)/lib/texi2any/bin/ ? Bruno
