We have a Linux machine working with kernel 2.2.12-20smp, under RedHat
6.1 on a i686 dual processors in HP Kayak. When we try to execute sort
(GNU textutils) 2.0 in file attached below we obtain:
> sort embl.seq
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
When we execute in the same machine the version sort (GNU textutils)
1.22 we haven't problems and sort works correctly.
We send you the file that produce core and core itself.
If this bug has been corrected I apologize for the inconveniences and I
hope your answer as soon as possible, because in our work we use this
program extensivelly.
