I was typing in the terminal: wget -q -O - http://sodaserver.tamu.edu/assim/SODA_2.2.4/ | grep _2009 |

but it returns this:-: Cannot resolve incomplete link /icons/unknown.gif.-
Since the base-href was removed in the first output, you'll have to add it yourself in the 2nd invocation of Wget. Something like: wget -q -O - http://sodaserver.tamu.edu/assim/SODA_2.2.4/ | grep _2009 | wget -N --base=http://sodaserver.tamu.edu/assim/SODA_2.2.4/ --wait=0.5 --random-wait --force-html -i - But I think you could just do: wget -rq -nd -np -A.cdf --accept-regex=.*_2009.* http://sodaserver.tamu.edu/assim/SODA_2.2.4/ directly. -- --gv
