Hi, These days I prepared a build box that uses mainly static tools, and while compiling wget, I had problems with the dependencies, I had to manually add them to the linker flags (-ltasn1 -lnettle -lhogweed -lgmp).
I checked the `configure` script and could not find a `--static` option; perhaps it would be useful to add one, to do this automatically. Regards, Liviu
