Hello,

I have a problem with WinBoard 4.2.7 on Windows XP: When I start a pgn-file,
the "starting-interface" pops up asking me what I wnat to do. I have to chose
an engine or just to see the game. I remember an earlier Version that just
showed the game. Unfortunately I do not have that setup-file anymore. - May you
sent me the setup-file or the download-link? It would be very nice if you could
fix that for the next version. Maybe just opening the pgn-file - showing the
game - and at the same time allowing in the options to let an engine join it.
Actually the programm asks me to decide even when I dod not install any engine
for WinBoard - that makes no sence. Another problem is that the pgn-files are
shown as "unknown files", there is no WinBoard symbol for the File - maybe that
last one is a problem of my system. But the problems mentioned on the top
really troubles the work with WinBoard. Still it is the best pgn-viewer -
remebering the old version. Thank you
 very much for your efforts.

Very Kind Regards,
Paul Charly.
