The source code for WinBoard 4.2.7 is included in the xboard source, ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/xboard/xboard-4.2.7.tar.gz. 4.2.7a and 4.2.7b are the same as 4.2.7; only the Windows installer was changed. The WinBoard 4.2.7 and 4.2.7a releases used an installer built with an old version of the proprietary InstallShield program. The Windows installer in 4.2.7b was built with the free NSIS. It's checked into the xboard project CVS and you can download it from there.
