XBoard/Winboard and Crafty are two different projects. Winboard provides a GUI for chess games and Crafty is one of many supported chess engines that works with Xboard/Winboard. You probably want to get 64bit support for Crafty. I don't really have any information on that though (perhaps someone else on this list knows about it?).
