Follow-up Comment #2, bug #10273 (project xboard):
timeseal is a separate closed-source program provided by FICS. You should
ask them to fix it. The "someone at FICS" you talked to is mistaken.
I just downloaded the latest versions of timeseal for Linux from the
freechess.org web site (both 32-bit and 64-bit), and they both still have this
problem.
If you are using timeseal with WinBoard on Windows, it's the same program as
timeseal for Linux, just recompiled for Windows. So it has the same problem.
