What are you talking about? There is no -overrideLinegap option.

Besides if the developers have special demands to the translations it
should be communicated to the translatirs with translator comments in the
source. Translators aren't mindreaders.
Good point. But I think the German translation asmae by Arun himself, and
he hardly needed to read any minds for this.
Anyway, we could sove it by placing such a demand. The alternative is that
the default -clockFont is calculated from the clock width,
from the translated text. (Similar to how the default boardSize is
calculated from the screen size.)
Problem is ho many digits of time to acount for. Should space be reserved
for the hours-field?
