the standard xboard installation should work (if you have one). Just run LANG=pl_PL xboard from a terminal. If you have your desktop set up to be in polish anyway, it should work automatically. If you are compiling xboard, make sure you add gettext support to it (enabled by default) and have all necessary support files installed.
