Yes. We'd like to use the matchbox-inputmanager and the matchbox-startup-monitor
together with matchbox-panel-2.

usbtty also gets confused if it receives many characters at once (i.e. copy and
paste a command)

------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2007-04-06 02:57 -------
The first batch of patches for SPI init were send to openmoko-kernel.

The problem is that I'm not able to get the fb working together with the LCM in
QVGA mode.

Just setting the mode and timings from data-sheet in mach-gato1.c does not work.
Reconfigure the framebuffer register with JTAG gives a partially result. The
mode is changed if we set to VGA first and set it back to QVGA afterwards.

I'm still not sure what is happening there. Needs more investigation. I will
care about this after 2007-04-14

I think this is about two different problems:

1. Storing passwords from applications/email/www-logins etc in a save encrypted
way. We need to decide if we reuse something like gnome-keyring or omplement our
own. Personally I would reuse existing code as implement crypto is hard to get
right. Add some sane API on the top? (Need to investigate the existing code
before)

2. Retrieving passwords. Do you really like to spoke your password loud into
your phone? I'm a bit scared about this idea as normaly there is somebody around
which I don't like to know my password.

Mickey, to get it right: As you link it already now only removing the dead code
is needed to have this bug fixed completely?

Chen Jie, if mickey approves this, can you please remove the duplicated code,
test and commit to svn? Thanks.

Any tests with psplash and upstart? I can't find anything in the README about
it.

A neat splash during system init is a must. Animate it in someway is also good
to give the user a feedback about ongoing progress.

Once we have switched our init system and got it stable we should integrate
psplash.
