Summary: MokoMakefile fails to build uboot-gta01 package
           Product: OpenMoko
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: u-boot
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
                CC: [email protected]

"make update-makefile && make setup && make openmoko-devel-image" fails when it
is time to build uboot-gta01.
I've tried "make clean-package-uboot-gta01 && make build-package-uboot-gta01"
and keeps failing.

The log of the last command can be found here:
http://www.pastebin.ca/615980

I hope not to have filed a duplicate bug.
If you need more information, just ask (it's the first time I try to use
MokoMakefile)

Incoming SMS event and dynamic registration of unsolicited responses.

This is a proposed patch to emit a gsmd event when a new SMS arrives, also
modifies libgsmd-tool to display the notification. It makes sms_cb.c compile
but only really implements the bits necessary to make it build and for the
notifications to work. I chose AT+CNMI mode 1 (i.e. store messages in memory
and report the location through +CMTI, rather than print the message right away
through +CMT) because the parser doesn't support multiline unsolicited
responses - in fact it can't support those because in a situation when a normal
command is executing and an unsolicited response comes in (which is the case
when sending a message to yourself) it is impossible for the parser to
distinguish whether the line after the unsolicited response is part of that
response or part of the command's response.

please note that MokoMakefile is an external contribution, and that OpenMoko
does not use it internally, and thus also not support it.

So I would like to ask you to report bugs regarding MokoMakefile to
http://projects.openmoko.org/projects/mokomakefile/

Please reopen this bug if you believe it is a bug of OpenMoko's buildsystem.

Doesn't work for me either. Following the wiki instructions for running
OM in Xephyr (native, not qemu), I get a lot of a theme-related
error messages. Firstly it looks for the hicolor theme rather than
openmoko-standard. If I symlink /usr/share/icons/hicolor to openmoko-standard
it gets some of the icons but still misses many (like moko-call-answer).

I'm new to OM, so perhaps I'm just missing something that everybody
else knows about...

I just realized that I missed the initial problem description entirely. My
apologies for not seeing it. I will modify my patch to use the SVN revision and
to provide a run-time interface as requested.

[This e-mail has been automatically generated.]

You have one or more bugs assigned to you in the Bugzilla
bugsystem (http://bugzilla.openmoko.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/) that require
attention.

All of these bugs are in the NEW state, and have not been touched
in 7 days or more. You need to take a look at them, and
decide on an initial action.

Generally, this means one of three things:

(1) You decide this bug is really quick to deal with (like, it's INVALID),
and so you get rid of it immediately.
(2) You decide the bug doesn't belong to you, and you reassign it to someone
else. (Hint: if you don't know who to reassign it to, make sure that
the Component field seems reasonable, and then use the "Reassign bug to
    owner of selected component" option.)
(3) You decide the bug belongs to you, but you can't solve it this moment.
Just use the "Accept bug" command.

To get a list of all NEW bugs, you can use this URL (bookmark it if you like!):

http://bugzilla.openmoko.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&[EMAIL
PROTECTED]

Or, you can use the general query page, at
http://bugzilla.openmoko.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/query.cgi.

Appended below are the individual URLs to get to all of your NEW bugs that
haven't been touched for a week or more.

You will get this message once a day until you've dealt with these bugs!

Rusty: You need to run settings-daemon within Xephyr and set the appropriate
theme keys in gconf. Hicolor is part of the fall back system in the icon theme
specification, so attempts to load icons from there are to be expected if they
do not exist in the current theme.

This bug has been fixed in the images for some time now.

Add support for the -V version command line argument

svnversion is used to find the range of versions that the files in the
directory have, and this information is fed into a header file (gsmd-version.h)
via a script in the make file. The version information is kept as a text
string because in cases where the code has been edited locally but not
committed, the version string could possibly contain alphabetic characters.

One thing to note is that this version string could actually include a range of
versions included (http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.1/re57.html), so the length
of the string could be greater than what is expected.
