I think you're referring to GTA01Bv4, correct?
Did you also measure the charge current once enumerated (500mA charge)?

jserv, can you please have somebody in your team work on resolving this trivial
bug? I would love to see some automagic inclusion of the svn source tree
version. So if a particular binary was build from svn rev. 2834, then it should
just display that revision when printing "-V".

This sounds like the hardware RTC is not read out during resume.
I am afraid without further investigation I also don't know how this is supposed
to happen during regular suspend/resume of linux systems.

unfortunately this is not an option for either GTA01 nor GTA02. The new battery
charging specification is so horribly complex. We might revisit this for some
later (non-neo1973) devices.
