Summary: Bitbake recipes for uriparser/libSpiff
Product: OpenMoko
Version: current svn head
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: OE bitbake recipes / build system
AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
CC: [email protected]
I attached recipes/patches for both uriparser and libSpiff as I would like them
to be included in the OE tree. They are needed for the OpenMoko media player
but should be of interest for other projects also.

The packages you mention are already in openembedded. See packages/libspiff and
packager/liburiparser
New openembedded recipies should generally go into the openembedded bugzilla
(http://bugs.openembedded.org/) and not here. If you feel that package is
important for openmoko then open a bug here with a link to the oe bug. Too bad
bugzilla can't import bugs from other bugtrackers.

Yeah, seems like someone (Mickey?) added these recipes to the OE repo very
recently since I didn't have them in my tree when I wrote them myself. Oh well,
at least I learned more about OE :)

[This e-mail has been automatically generated.]
You have one or more bugs assigned to you in the Bugzilla
bugsystem (http://bugzilla.openmoko.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/) that require
attention.
All of these bugs are in the NEW state, and have not been touched
in 7 days or more. You need to take a look at them, and
decide on an initial action.
Generally, this means one of three things:
(1) You decide this bug is really quick to deal with (like, it's INVALID),
and so you get rid of it immediately.
(2) You decide the bug doesn't belong to you, and you reassign it to someone
else. (Hint: if you don't know who to reassign it to, make sure that
the Component field seems reasonable, and then use the "Reassign bug to
owner of selected component" option.)
(3) You decide the bug belongs to you, but you can't solve it this moment.
Just use the "Accept bug" command.
To get a list of all NEW bugs, you can use this URL (bookmark it if you like!):
http://bugzilla.openmoko.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&[EMAIL
PROTECTED]
Or, you can use the general query page, at
http://bugzilla.openmoko.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/query.cgi.
Appended below are the individual URLs to get to all of your NEW bugs that
haven't been touched for a week or more.
You will get this message once a day until you've dealt with these bugs!

Summary: Battery discharging while phone is off
Product: OpenMoko
Version: current svn head
Platform: Neo1973
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: kernel
AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

My neo exhibits a very strange behaviour : after a full charge of the battery,
it takes only ~ 48hours for the battery to discharge completely to the point Neo
can't boot, while the Neo is *powered off*.
Looks like it is a well known problem :-) : see

IMHO, 99% of artwork should be icons, and thus part of the icon theme. I can't
think of anything off the top of my head which doesn't count as a themeable
icon.
For the rest, the image is either installed in /usr/share/[appname]/ or it
isn't. If it isn't the packaging is buggy, and fallbacks are pointless.
All you need for the 1% of non-icons is gdk_pixbuf_new_from_file_at_size
(APPDATADIR "filename.png", width, height, &error).

Summary: Touching LCD screen does not wakeup neo anymore

This could be a regression between 2.6.21.6 et 2.6.22.5 and kernels, as it used
to work yesterday, until i reflashed my neo this morning with a new kernel. :-(
So the issue is when profile is set to "Full PM" or "Dim Only", the only way for
the LCD to power up again once it is gone to power saving mode, is to press the
Aux or Power button.
