a digit and then will replace it when held. Please could you check to see if
this helps solve your problem.

Making phone calls from Dialer works now (r3150) without problems. I am able
to select number from call history and it dials to my k750i phone. But when I
press 'hang out' in Dialer then it stops handling call but my k750i phone is
still ringing.
For me it looks like bug in gsmd<>Dialer communication.

Two lists I've created on projects.openmoko.org seem to be non-function.

Manual subscription from admin interface or subscription from webform results in
no feedback to admin or user. Users appear subscribed after manual subscription.
Email to list address seems to go to /dev/null.
As an added note, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] bounces back when I tried
to report this problem to the mail address given on the "you've created a new

Add hardcoded USB/serial console and poweroff options to the boot menu
This patch (lightly tested on qemu, including a test erasing the environment
partition) hardcodes the last three options of the devirginator default
environment ("Set console to USB", "Set console to serial", and "Power off"),
which are the ones most useful for recovery of a corrupted/missing environment.
The first option is most useful for people without (or who don't want to use
their) debug board; the second one is useful if the console options were set to
usbtty on the environment and you want to use the debug board serial; and the
last one is just nice to have.
These have been copied unchanged from the devirginator scripts. I will post
another alternate patch which also sets "usbtty=cdc_acm" (in case that
environment variable has been erased; if the environment is corrupted or
missing, u-boot will automatically set it).
I have opted to not set "baudrate" on the serial console option, since knowing
if it works without causing any problems would need testing on a real device
with the debug board first. If someone wants to do such testing, it would be a
good idea in case the environment variable has been incorrectly set (and if
u-boot reads it from the environment; I have not yet found where it does it. If
it doesn't, there's no need to change it from the default).
With this patch, even if the environment has wrong variables or is missing, as
long as you can get to the boot menu, you should be able to get to the console
(unless there's some other environment variable which is able to break the USB
console).
If applied, the default menu will have 3 duplicate options (unless you edit the
environment to remove them); a separate patch for qemu and for the devirginator
would be needed to remove their copy of the options.
More testing on a real device (with a debug board nearby) would be welcome.

Summary: implement AT command interrupt/cancel
Product: OpenMoko
Version: current svn head
Platform: Neo1973
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: critical
Priority: P2
Component: gsmd
AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Currently we can't cancel outgoing calls before they are answered, which is
critical. (For the issue history, please see bug 906.)
AT commands that take a long time could be cancelled by a simple "AT", or in
case of ATD, ATH would be good. However, gsmd makes sure that applications don't
cancel one another's commands. It issues the next command only after the
previous completes.
A simple workaround for now would be to remove "AT+COLP=1" from the modem init
at gsmd/gsmd.c - this makes ATD return immediately. At least in my tests, the
info lost is just +COLP: "",128, and we don't process that in libmokogsmd or the
dialer anyway.
In the long term, gsmd should get COLP back and support cancelling commands such
as AT+COPS=? too.

OK, discussed this with Cesar on IRC and did some testing to find possible
fixes.
As he writes above, this bug might have started showing when bug 766 was fixed
(partially). I noticed the COLP setting also affects whether this bug is seen.
There doesn't seem to be anything the dialer can do about this at the moment, so
blocking on gsmd bug 928, which ever way that will be solved.
