3) oprofile is currently built as a module, but you want it statically compiled

incorrectly escaped and displays raw HTML to the browser. I'll attach a

The description of the "site infrastructure" product in bugzilla is "Issues

This is not how to spell bugzilla.

This is obviously a trivial bug.

Summary: Excessive noise when making phone calls
           Product: OpenMoko
           Version: 2007.2
          Platform: Neo1973
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW

        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
                CC: [email protected]

When making phone calls from a recent image (October 8-13) there is excessive
noise in the call. This is especially evident when there's some noise in the
environment. i.e.:
- If you are in a very quiet room, the call sounds OK
- If you are in a large hall or a room with some ambient noise, the sound on the
call degrades very quickly with rising levels of noise.

The noise is significantly worse than on other phones, and makes the phone
unusable in any but the quietest environment.

I'm not sure whether libgsmd is the correct component for this so please
redirect if needed.

The Contacts UI does not allow you to add a phone number sometimes, i.e.
pressing the new phone field doesn't do anything. It seems that this happens
when the phone is not connected to a GSM network.

I think this doesn't make much sense from a user perspective as I may want to
add contact numbers in any number of places that don't have reception: In the
subway, in a building that has bad reception, in the mountains where I meet
fellow hikers. :P

Summary: Dialer cursor positioning is confusing
           Product: OpenMoko

When in the Dialer application clicking on the number text field positions an
invisible cursor. If the cursor is placed in the middle of the number, then
entering new digits or erasing seems to erase only what's left to the cursor.
Since there is no visual indication of the cursor the user thinks that the
portion of the number to the right of the cursor is now *stuck* there because he
can't erase it.

Possible solutions:
- Make the cursor visible
- Remove the cursor

I think the first option is much more reasonable.

Summary: Kinetic scrolling is hard to use with fingers
           Product: OpenMoko
           Version: 2007.2
          Platform: Neo1973

                CC: [email protected]

When using fingers to scroll it's really easy to get the touch part of the
touch-and-drag recognized as a click. This is a bit better when using the
stylus, but I'm sure that finger scroll is also a use case.

I'm not entirely sure what can be done to make this better. One possibility is
to make the UI use a double-click instead of a single-click for activating items
as it currently does. Then a single-click recognized as part of a scroll won't
be confused with the activating click.

If this is in the wrong component please redirect, I wasn't sure where to file
this.

Summary: Hang-up button is badly placed

When in a call the Hang-up button is in the top-right corner of the screen. When
holding the phone (in one's left hand) this button is very easy to touch with
the face. Putting it on the right would create the same problem for using it in
the right hand.

I suggest moving them lower down and also not placing them on the edges of the
screen but closer to the horizontal middle. I will try to make a sketch of what
I envision.
