Running from ssh will not work as it needs to be run on the same message bus as
the dialer. Please launch the terminal application on the phone and run from
there.

Regarding #2: switching to OpenSSH was the solution we adopted in HXD8,
where we make extensive use of ssh/scp in the production process. Another
ugly "feature" of dropbear is that it sometimes wants the user to press
[Enter] even if we've set up access through authorized_keys.

We had trouble with one of our reverse proxys.
The revproxy openmoko.xelerance.com is removed since two days now, there is a
small chance that a DNS cache has still the wrong Address Record.

Duh, pressed enter in the summary field → instant submit, no comments.

Anyway, as requested, put this in as a bug so it can be properly tracked at
least. The gllin ipkg installs into /home, which is a bit unclean for a package.
A better solution would be to install into /usr/bin and /usr/lib/gllin.

Summary: gllin outputs uncompressed NMEA log, crashes on disk

The gllin as packaged seems to output uncompressed NMEA log into
/home/root/gllin/log (in addition to the gzipped log that's started in the
wrapper script, apparently because gllin would crash if there was no reader).
This fills up the internal flash in relatively short order as well as does extra
writes that we don't need on the flash. Also, the crash that results from not
being able to write said log is rather uninformative.

Fortunately, this one is mostly a matter of a command line parameter; gllin
should be given -nmea in the latter startup command in the wrapper script.
(gllin -h claims this is the default, but that seems to be inaccurate.)

(Personally, I just replaced the cat as well with a pipe to /dev/null, but
that's me.)
