I just added viewing of SMS history to latest Contacts (r398) - could you see if
you can view messages there? If you can, I may know what's causing this.

This is because blank entries are not allowed and are deleted (as per the
request in bug 951).

fixed this. Please reopen with instructions to replicate this with the latest

Added volume control in r3857 that controls Amp left/right (please avoid r3856,
it contains broken code, sorry).
It seems these controls alter microphone sensitivity, rather than speaker
volume? Should the control be on PCM instead?

I don't think it's realistic to support copying an evolution database from a
desktop to the neo, which runs a completely different version of eds. Using this
.db file, I don't get any segfaults (in either e-addressbook-factory or
openmoko-contacts), contacts is just unable to open the addressbook (and reports
as such).
Please file this upstream: http://bugzilla.openedhand.com/

Is there any hope of getting this fixed on the GTA01? This is a real blocker in
terms of testing this device in real use-case scenarios. Is the issue with the
actual hardware, or can it be fixed in software?

When retrieve operator list on network register will cause dialer can't make a
phone call or send message. This command takes a long time to get result from
modem(about 55 secs, my observation in Taiwan).
