the tab buttons on top in Contacts, (from left to right) dial out a phone call,
send a SMS out, and add new contact. All of them are working normally.

Ah, I didn't realise that 112 was the accepted number on GSM, so this makes
things easier.
I've just taken a look at the code though, and dialer shouldn't deny a dial
request unless it isn't on a network at all - it will try if you've been denied,
which I assume will allow emergency numbers to work...
Is dialing an emergency number guaranteed to work if you're not on a network
(including NETREG_DENIED)?

I'm not sure if multiple recipients is a sensible thing to add before launch - I
imagine there are considerations for how quickly you can send messages,
confirmation and so on, not to mention the UI considerations (currently, there's
space for 1 line of input when displaying a single contact on the message
composition page). It might be sensible to leave this feature for later...
