#1766: GSM Antenna Signal

How do I figure out if I have the GTA2v3 or 1?
I flashed my Neo Freerunner (that I bought via pulster.de) to the 2008.8
images that was linked on the wiki page of OM 2008.8 (I retrieved them on
Friday 08/08/2008), and I have the same problem as mentioned in the write
up.
I get asked to enter my pin. I do so, and it's accepted. But then I let
the device wait for about 30 minutes, but it never picks up a network with
2008.8, whereas 2007.02 picked up a network almost immediately after
entering my PIN.
I can reproduce this every time I start up the phone with a SIM in it.
I have yet to try whether I can receive calls. I doubt that I can, but I
will try it.

That was just a joke. Of course I know I either have v5 or v6. (I think
v5)

The url is wrong. The "m" in multiverse should be a capital "M".
I would also suggest disabling case-sensitivity on your servers.

#1786: GtkButton inner_border theme change
----------------------+-----------------------------------------------------
Reporter: montgoss | Owner: openmoko-devel

Severity: trivial | Keywords: gtk,theme,inner_border

gtkrc seems to have changed between OM2007.2 and Om2008.8. In particular,
the GtkButton::inner_border was changed from:
GtkButton::inner_border = {10, 10, 10, 10}
to:
GtkButton::inner_border = {15, 15, 10, 10}
This breaks the layout of several apps that would otherwise work fine on
both distros. However, even reverting back to all 10's is an issue
(perhaps some other change in the file is affecting it). All 5's works,
but others like all 1's. This should be a simple change that would make
it a lot easier for developers to support multiple distros.

marek,
is it possible to collect the different keyboards to switch around in
exposure? just like we are doing with profiles?

Comment(by thepizzaking):
I couldn't manage to get the PIN input dialog up at all (not even by
restarting the XServer), but I removed the SD Card and then the PIN came
up about 30 seconds after booting, though, after I entered my PIN I
couldn't receive or make any calls.

#1775: qpe on 2008.8 crashes on startup

Comment(by billk):
Not the same problem - I am not killing qpe - this message is there on
startup!
I get no "alert message" - the phone just doesnt even register with the
network. If I run qpe manually, it still doesnt register - just gives
messages about a "Mux being unavailable". The display problem I had with
qpe was because it needed backgrounding.

If you read the title of this bug, you will see it has nothing to do with
showing/hiding the keyboard which is the ticket you are referring to!

It's annoying because in certain configuration busybox's PATH is not
exported (e.g. when I use screen). Plus crashes should just not happen ;)
It's easy to fix, see attached patch.
