 hi,

i'm using a sd card - after starting up my neo located in /dev/mmcblk1
after suspending and then resuming, the device changed to /dev/mmcblk1p1
then i suspended and resumed again and after this it changed again to
 /dev/mmcblk2
maybe you can repeat it and every time it steps on point forward

it's a little bit annoying, because i want to use it as my home folder and
without sus/res the bat live is to short for daily use...

kernel and image are the ones located in
 http://buildhost.openmoko.org/daily/freerunner/200808/20080809/

Comment:

This fix sort of works one time. But my SD card comes back mounted at
 /media/mmcblk1p2 instead of /media/mmcblk0p2 and /media/mmcblk1p1
 instead of /media/card.

The next time it resumed, it deleted the partition table like it used to.

Here's the last part of the dmesg output:

No one hijacked your ticket. We all have the same problem. First symptom
is that the PIN-dialog doesn't appear. The difference is that we tried to
debug the problem and found it was more complex than that.

Comment(by apm):

 More info:
Now I couldn't use GSM, I decided to take the phone for a car trip testing
GSP (without reboot). ... and lo an behold, after driving around for 15
 minutes, suddenly the GSM works.
So maybe the symptoms of no PIN-dialog and no GSM after correct PIN entry
(when the dialog makes one of its rare appearances) is just a problem of
the system being slow to become operable.
Or is it a behaviour problem? Are the people seeing this symptom just the
once who right after boot jumps directly to PIN entry and the dialer -
getting the "No GSM" error message?

#1800: Add stylus centric keyboard or keyboard mode.

I'd like to see another keyboard made available for 2008.08 that is
optimized for stylus use. To me this would involve:
 - immediate character entry rather than after a 1-2 second delay.
 - disabling predictive text entry.

I can think of a couple ways to do this:

 1) have an alternate keyboard program that either replaces the current
2008.8 keyboard, or can be switched with it from in the GUI someplace.

 2) add a nonpredictive stylus mode to the 2008.08 keyboard. When you
click on a letter, you get it, without a disambiguation 'balloon'.
