Which DISPLAY do you use? Set it to DISPLAY=:0 so the "system" softmenu
will show and you can click on OK.

Is that the same as #1244? Or what does "offset" mean? offset of what?

Not a kernel issue, assigning it to openmoko-devel, remove the milestone
as it is used by our product manager.

This also happens with images from asu.dev. So something in the system
(ompower, illume) get confused about what state the backlight should have.

Making sure raster sees it and removing the milestone as this is used by
 our ProductManager.

nah, take a look at /etc/Xsession.d/89qtopia for the two other important
environment variables. But all you need is to, reboot, make it happen, log
in, execute logread, attach the output (after making it anonymous) to the
 bug.

Also this looks like a duplicate of #1766.

Comment:

Okay. This is getting way too chaotic and not manageable at all. I have no
other option than to close the bug, as we at least have two different
 issues.

@Peetrus and others: You run gsmd and qpe. This is not going to work.
Deinstall gsmd or qtopia... If you want you can file a bug report for the
distro team to put rconflicts in qpe and gsmd, so you can not install both
 at the same time.

saytel.log: Good log. The QAtChat is confused due a wakeup command (ATE0)
and intereptes this response (OK) as the response of another command. So
AT+CPIN? does respond with OK and the +CPIN is discarded. This is related
to the various "GSM no signal/antenna" registration. I fixed that bug
yesterday and I hope to have testing packages available soon. Also please
file another bug report for that.

In case this was not seen...

Hmm. IIRC we install openmoko-theme-standard2, which is getting the source
 from http://svn.openmoko.org/trunk/src/target/OM-2007.2/artwork/themes
/openmoko-standard-2 and we use the revision r4338. If you provide a patch
we could find someone to review, put that into the SVN and provide
upgraded packages. It is definitely not the area of my knowledge.

Mickey do you still remember this stuff?

After flashing OM2008.0, I have not been able to make calls. Although, I
 can receive calls.

I am not sure where to look for the logs. The only thing that made a
little debug sense to me was /var/log/messages to which qpe was logging.
I am attaching my /var/log/messages grepped with 'AtChat' and 'Modem'.

I have removed a few numbers which I sort of didn't want to disclose.

Moreover, I have made and received calls as well which are captured in the
log file. These events are marked with appropriate comments as well.

Note: This issue is not same as
