Comment:
I, too, experience the same behaviour - when I try to make a call FR tells
me GSM is not registered; however, I can be called, and I can receive and
send texts just fine. (Sorry not a very good bug report, only got the
phone a few days ago, flashed to OM2008.8 yesterday; haven't yet quite
gotten my head around the system & can't even locate the log files...)

Clearing milestone, definitely it is not Julian's bug.

Comment(by zecke):
That is right. Xglamo is using /dev/tty1 that is supposed to give all
keyboard devices. Could you install evtest and xev to see if the keyboard
is generating anything? Is anything else in the system grabbing that
keyboard?

Comment:
See the developer and community mailinglist for that question. It has been
asked on both mailinglists and should be easy to find with google.
We run atd, you can ask atd to write the system time. More details in the
atd sourcecode and the mailinglist posts. Or I can look that up tomorrow
(need to leave the train now).

Guess I thought it was the same issue since the email thread talking about
the partition table issue had mentions of this ticket. I'll go ahead and
open a new ticket if you think that's cleaner.

#1802: Suspend/resume corrupts SD card's partition table

As the title suggests, suspend/resume corrupts the partition table of my
SD card every time. May or may not be related to ticket #1743, as
changing the SD clock at least partially affects this behavior.
Here's the last part of the dmesg output after a resume that corrupted the
partition table:
