This might be related to #1760. We maybe should send ATH instead of
AT+CHLD=1 on ending the only active call. The missed call question
probably comes up as we set the call to missed due the %CPI
notification... Once I have time I try to take a look.

This sounds like enabling of SMS notification did fail on startup. Could
you try to get me the logread output after you are registered with the
network (before the device suspends) but only if this run shows the issue
as well. If I'm right this is related to #1766 and the "No Network" issue.
- Power the device, register with network
- login and get the log (logread) and save it somewhere
- Check if the issue occurs, if that is the case please attach the log
(well remove private data...)

Please stop buildhost building qtopia-x11 images until it can be taught to
build them from the correct branch. Once you've done that, remove all
existing and previous qtopia-x11 images from buildhost.

Using that command fixed it for me (using 2008.08 release).
First I had to:
opkg install alsa-utils openmoko-alsa-scenarios
Then the aforementioned file was available. So things are looking up for
sure! I still have a crazy echo on the receiving end. I will go look
into that now.

Someone in authority in OM needs to say "Our daily builds should be done
from the org.openmoko.asu.testing branch, should include only the
qtopia-x11 images, and feeds should also be built from that branch using
sane-srcrevs only"
Then that decision by that person should be properly rolled out to
buildhost.
