if i understand them correctly, both #1719 and #1768 describe problems
with sdhc cards under linux.
i didn't have any problems using the card under linux (i.e., after booting
the os) - at least until now.
the problem described above occurs before booting linux (i.e. the os), the
bootloader u-boot - or more precisely the mmcinit command in it - seems
not to recognize the card (or more precisely: its capacity) correctly, and
consequently booting from it fails.

It seems that Qtopia can't handle SMS where the "Sender" field contains
letters. I sent two messages via the Sipgate webinterface. One with a
sender number and one without (Sipgate sets "sipgate" as sender by
default).

I tried to make a map package for Locations according to

Create offline maps]
However, the FR freezes after I started om-locations-map-pack. I have to
switch off the phone (pressing power button, no "Shuting down" message
appears).
After reboot there is a .eet file with the size 0.

To create a map package you have to scroll around an area so the tiles are
cached to /tmp.
It would be more convenient to have a button to download all tiles of the
current visible area for all zoom levels.
