#1841: white screen of death (WSOD) after resume

Comment(by nelg):

 Tried this with testing-om-gta02-20080917

 Still get WSOD after suspend for more than a few minutes.

 Looking at the output of logread from a successful resume (after just a
 couple of minutes) and a WSOD resume, the output seems to be much the
 same.

 Any update on patches or things I can do to help?

Comment(by Toscho):

 Bug is reproducible:

 1. Flash Neo with FDOM-Distribution as of 2008-09-13
 2. opkg update
 3. opkg install nano (probably totally irrelevant)
 4. opkg upgrade
 5. reboot

 So it seems, as if the upgrade is broken.

 Steps to repro:

 - goto home
 - open fifteen

 Expected result:
 - fifteen starts

 Actual restult:

Comment(by dolfje):

 I've had it again. And I think this issue is related to #1945.

 After my FreeRunner is up a 'long' time and I call to it:
 1. I get no dailing tone and I go directly to the voicemail
 2. I get a dailing tone, but my FreeRunner don't tell me someone is
 calling.

 So my phone isn't telling me, someone is calling. Afterwards, I get a
 message I had a missed call. So it knows that someone has called. (Maybe
 just the phone app that doesn't respond or respond wrongly to the gsm
 modem and rejects the call).

 I think this issue is related with #1662 and isn't related with suspend.
 Because I could reproduce this bug while the FreeRunner wasn't in suspend.
