miss the output of logread and I'm not willing to do handwaving. Please
read the http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Bug_Filing_Policy and attach the
output of logread once for a successfull and once for a non-successful

I followed the instructions for connecting it to the internet via USB on
the wiki for debian, and it doesn't work. Now the network manager doesn't
recognize that it is connected.

Since http://buildhost.openmoko.org/ is closed down from public access,
and http://downloads.openmook.org/ doesn't contain the actual DEPLOY_DIR
(with lowlevel_foo.bin and u-boot.bin images for all GTA02 and GTA01
hardware revisions, it's currently impossible to e.g. use devirginator to
devirginate any of those devices.

devirginator relies on an old 'buildhost style' deploy directory that
contains the lowlevel_foo.bin and u-boot images as well as kernel and
rootfs.
However, openmoko removed access to such a deploy directory. Therfore,
devirginator cannot be used, and all the example configurations shipped
with devirginator also don't work anymore.
