Comment(by andy):

 This should be part of U-Boot package (and maybe update scriptlet) if it
 goes anywhere. In future Qi doesn't have splash concept and splash.gz on
 its own can take a dump on NAND that could conceivably be used for
 something else then. But it should be OK with U-Boot since it knows where
 to get it and what to do with it.

 Please fix or suppress "splash-write: applet not found" messages at boot
 time. There are too many of them which result in excessive scrolling,
 making it more difficult to read the other messages.

 Alternatively, only print this warming once and don't keep repeating it.

 The boot messages are for example visible when booting QtExtendened.

 Fixing this will improve quality of feedback to the developer at boot
 time.

 Can we have more information about this bug and how trigger it ?

 I have been unable to reproduce it on my phone (gta02, with kernel
 2.6.24+r10+gitr9706327002caebe6633c93e605882ea37172ec57-r10.1)

 Yet, I saw it happening a few times when i didn't try to trigger it.

Comment(by bbb8):

 what distro are you using? i could trigger it by echo 0 >
 /sys/devices/platform/neo1973-pm-gsm.0/power_on and see if it suspends,
 you can also play around with file /etc/X11/Xsession.d/89qtopia and edit
 the echo 1 in there and see what results u get, but i'm guessing that this
 is most probably from QPE

Comment:

 Hi, now it happen again......

 newest test/update date: 2008.11.17
 but it's not happen all the time, and even with same phone company's SIM
 will have different result.

 I think it's very important so put into the Om2008.11 list.

 Some of the opkg-utils expect Python in /usr/bin/. In fact, the rest of
 the opkg-utils call "/usr/bin/env python" (which is good) and
 "/usr/bin/env python2.1".

 It's good practice to let the environment define the preferred Python to
 use: "/usr/bin/env python"

Comment(by jeremy):

 It's Xglamo, we should enable MONOTONIC_CLOCK for Xglamo, then
 GetTimeInMillis function will use clock_gettime instead of GETTIMEOFDAY
 function to make this issue fixed.
