Comment(by Kev):
carcinoma - thank you a lot for your hint!
I've just flashed my gsm modem, too and did the FIRST call with the
freerunner in my life. Thats very amazing because I have the freerunner
already for 5 month now...but couldn't use my sim, until NOW :). A few
moments before I read your post, I still thought, that I will never be
able to make a call. What a surprise :).
It works now with my O2 sim card in Germany without a PIN and I'm quite
happy. I haven't test it with sim-pin.
I've used the howto here[1] with the newest firmware moko10beta2.
Btw. I've got birthday in a few days...that is really a very nice present,
thanks :)!

etk changed from its own git to enlightenment svn. upstream made new bb
but didn't change PE so upgrade won't use the latest version. commited,
please test.

Comment(by john_lee):
also I lost all-feed.conf, armv4t-feed.conf and om-gta02-feed.conf under
/etc/opkg after I chose 'Y' use the maintainer's version in distro-feed-
configs during upgrade... this is bad.
btw, Illume packages are broken. Still need to modify the RPROVIDE,
RCONFLICT and RREPLACE...

Replying to [comment:16 john_lee]:

Tick confirmed that this is the expected behavior and opkg can still
finish the upgrade process, so this is not a bug. Now I just need to take
care of the illume and distro-feed-configs problems.

Comment(by john_lee):
The /etc/opkg/*.cfg disappearing issue never happens again. Commit
081bd0a65f976b2899ad3265f707b855bd6436b4 fixed the illume upgrade path,
but the config file shipped with Om2008.9 is still wrong, so I have to
cook a postinst script to fix that.

Comment(by jeremy):
Thanks Wendy's test and explanation, it sounds it's goes to Blank, but not
going to Suspend. And the user will misunderstand it should have already
suspended cause the screen is black. Hopefully there will be a logread log
for this issue cause #1992 I think is for another issue that is suspending
happens right after the resume manually by pressing the power button.
