Comment(by mickey):

 You're right, I didn't spot these losses. I don't think the packets are
 lost in the multiplexer though, I rather think it's too much for the modem
 to transmit. Needs further research.

Comment(by kapiteined):

 Might be the case, although without the multiplexer i don't have these
 losses. that is why i suspected the multiplexer in the first place.

 Thanks for troubleshooting so far!

 Kind regards,
 Ed

 After resuming from a suspend, colour goes away and I am left with only
 monochrome. Steps to reproduce are just to suspend then resume. This
 happens with auto-suspending and apm -s. I am using debian and this issue
 occurs with both uImage-moredrivers-GTA02_stable-b749274fadec33a6.bin and
 uImage-moredrivers-GTA02_andy-tracking-d1a9cf85c8608601.bin I noticed this
 with some previous andy tracking kernels. Attached is the dmesg of both
 after a suspend. Andy latest is d1a9cf85c8608601

Comment:

 I took some time to further analyse the problem. What I suspected was true
 -- the modem can't take the huge frames in multiplexing mode, it's too
 slow to process it. It doesn't happen in single mode since the processing
 load on the modem is less than in multiplexing mode. The good thing though
 is that the modem is actually telling us when it is fed up. The new
 multiplexer fso-abyss clearly shows that it sends us an 'FC' signal, when
 all its buffers are full. The real problem is that we do not honor this
 flag (we should stop sending data in that case until the 'FC' flag has
 been cleared again), but keep flooding the modem with data. This is what
 we have to fix to make it solid.

Comment(by Karrde):

 I have also seen this same behavior on my Freerunner. It seems to be
 somehow related to the Qi, as I have never seen it with any u-boot. I have
 tried various kernels from the 2.6.24 that comes with the 2008.12 to .28
 and .29 kernels, either pre or self build but on resume I get either black
 and white screen, WSoD or rarely normal colors.

 The behavior doesn't seem to be affected whether I boot from the flash or
 from the uSD card.
