Comment(by budfive):

 I just tried to reproduce the crash running GPRS directly through pppd
 with no FSO and no muxer. The network connection was stable, and I could
 not make it crash under those conditions, which strongly points to the
 muxer as the source of the problem. Going back to the framework+muxer, the
 crash hapenned immediately. I'm updating the log pair (headphone
 jack+nspy) to a shorter set of logs that I obtained with a single loading
 of the website.

Comment:

 This caused by the failure to fork.

 If you reduce memory usage ei close paroli and frameworkd it should
 complete

Comment(by iknowjoseph):

 Confirmed, it successfully completes after pkill'ing paroli and
 frameworkd. Probably another issue, but opkg upgrade returns:

 Collected errors:

 I successfully completed an opkg upgrade which provided the following
 output:

 Collected errors:

     * ERROR: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for libpixman-1-0:
           o libgcc-s1 (>= 4.1.2) *

 Upon reboot the phone did not enter Paroli but displayed the Illume themed
 desktop. Launching Paroli from the icon worked without issue, although a
 small Illume panel remains at the top of the screen with "Paroli" just
 visible on the left hand edge.

 As you are updating from the unstable repo this would be more appropriate
 on the devel list

Comment:

 Which package did you install that had the libpixman dependency ?

 If you do a

 opkg install -force-reinstall -force-overwrie paroli paroli-autostart and
 paroli-theme

 you will be back to the original look. However today's feed kills your
 keyboard
