My DragonFly 2.7.1 system is having trouble completing the boot process.

Booting normally, it freezes after the lines:

pcib2: <PCIBIOS PCI-PCI bridge> at device 14.0 on pci0
pci2: <PCI bus> on pcib2

When you boot verbosely, it prints an infinite number of these messages:

"Illegal PCI extended capability offset, fixup 0xff -> 0xfc"

I haven't made any software changes in a week or so. This is very
possibly a dead hardware problem; the motherboard is crappy and the entire
machine is older.
