Ok, unfortunately it looks like your problem may be different from
the one we found. We found a corruption issue with the VM page
zeroing code (vm.idlezero_enable sysctl), but that code is not
enabled by default.
The issue with x86_64 might be a VM/HVM issue with 64-bit emulation.
