That seems that this should be the obvious solution here. (ulimit -n XXX) We're opening up all of the log files at start-time in 2.0, so you need enough file handles available to handle all log files open simultaneously. I changed the summary to reflect the bug report. This has nothing to do with memory. And, I believe this is just a tuning parameter that you need to adjust, so I'm not sure what we can do. (In the future, can you please submit the logs as attachments in bugzilla rather than inlining them?)
