htpasswd error

           Summary: htpasswd error
           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.39
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Critical
          Priority: Other
         Component: All
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

When I try and create a new password file under any win32 OS, with the win32
binary install I get the following error:
This a dump of what happened

Microsoft(R) Windows DOS
(C)Copyright Microsoft Corp 1990-2001.

F:\PROGRA~1\APACHE~1\APACHE2\BIN>htpasswd -c /windows/passfile vince
HTPASSWD: -c and -n options conflict

I can not create a password file called passfile I have tried numerous
different paths including c:\passfile, c:\windows\passfile
If I omit the -c it goes to the password part but it doesn't create a file. If
I try -n I get the same error as with -c.
It could be that I am just doing something wrong.
