http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=13457 mod_cgid left zombie processes under worker MPM [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |WONTFIX ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-10-10 11:31 ------- The worker MPM (and threaded MPMs in general) are not supported on FreeBSD. In fact, screwy signal behavior has been seen on FreeBSD with a non-threaded MPM (prefork) but thread-enabled APR. When the next generation of threading is available for FreeBSD (5.0?), there will be a renewed emphasis on testing thread-capable APR and threaded MPMs on FreeBSD. This is a frustrating situation. A number of us have tried and failed to get threaded MPMs working reliably on FreeBSD. OTOH, the prefork MPM and non-thread-capable APR have been extensively tested on FreeBSD. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
