http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=29427 Apache restart (service) randomly causes application error Summary: Apache restart (service) randomly causes application error Product: Apache httpd-2.0 Version: 2.0.49 Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: Other Component: Core AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] When restarting the Apach2 service (through a normal "net stop" and "net start" or the service manager or the ApacheMonitor service tray) an application error dialog opens saying the following: ==== The instruction at "0x77f69ecd" referenced memory at "0x00000010". The memory could not be "written". Click OK to terminate the program Click CANCEL to debug the program ==== If you click OK or CANCEL, the dialog just reopens - infinitly. You need to reboot your machine to get rid of it! Apache DOES restart though.... I am running mod_jk2.04 (part of the jakarta project) with Tomcat 5.0.24 behind it. Not sure if its the shared memory between tomcat and apache? Any feedback would be great as this is most annoying!
