http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=31324 Apache crashed on long request (longer than 8190) ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-09-23 08:40 ------- [Thu Sep 23 04:02:29 2004] [notice] SIGHUP received. Attempting to restart [Thu Sep 23 04:02:30 2004] [notice] seg fault or similar nasty error detected Really, this is nothing to do with the long requests. You are probably receiving these all the time. At 4am, logrotate is restarting your server, and it is crashing: so you need to try and get a core dump out of it (don't forget, you *must* start the server like "ulimit -c unlimited; apachectl start", not via an init script) It would also help to know what modules you are using: PHP? (there was a known bug in older versions of PHP which could cause this) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
