http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=37402 Summary: mod_proxy has stopped allowing POST sub-requests Product: Apache httpd-2.0 Version: 2.1-HEAD Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Keywords: PatchAvailable Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: mod_proxy AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Some of the changes made to mod_proxy in trunk (which were also backported to 2.0.55) have resulting in mod_proxy assuming that all sub-requests are GETs. Whilst this is typically true of SSIs, I don't see a reason to enforce this. Indeed, I have a custom module that requires exactly this (it turns certain sub-requests into POSTs, which go to a backend server using mod_proxy). I asked about this on the apache-dev mailing list: http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=apache-httpd-dev&m=111099194601082&w=2 No one stated any opposition (though it generate much discussion to be fair), so I'd like to go ahead and suggest this is a regression in behaviour and the patch(s) I'm about to attach should be applied. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
