http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=41859 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2007-03-16 02:57 ------- I'll leave this report open, because it's a popular module, and it doesn't hurt to have this documented in one more place. But it demonstrates that mod_fastcgi has issues with maintenance and support, and we should also mention the other fastcgi implementations: mod_fcgid - in widespread use, and more up-to-date mod_proxy_fcgi - in development within Apache. A perverse part of me wants to praise mod_fastcgi for taking a stand against gratuitous breakage of the API. This report should have been called "ap_compat lost". And a good fix for that would be a perl script to update all the "compat" functions in an old module. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
