No, mr. anonymous troll;

I said I would veto changes to the default layout to match some arbitrary
vendor package; if you make RH users happy you confound Sun users, etc etc etc.
Because vendors haven't brought their changes to the table but have forked out
on their own in this respect, that's fine.  Seek them out for their support.

I see no patch, and have no clue from this thread what change you are asking
for other than "make things better".  That's not a useful ticket and must be
closed.

Are you asking for "Address already in use" error messages to read

"Someone is already running a program that is listening to TCP/IP port
[...]:####
and you need to stop that program or change this server's IP Address or Port
before Apache will start.  It is up to you to figure out which program might
be doing this, perhaps another instance of httpd even?  In any case, the
authors
humbly ask your forgiveness for this unfortunate circumstance."

Reopen with an explicit request, rather than regurgitating an FAQ.
