A fully working apache2 setup (Debian) fails to authenticate users if their
password contains a section sign.

authenticate: user XXX authentication failed; URI /gosa/ [ldap_simple_bind_s()
to check user credentials failed][Invalid credentials]
OpenLDAP is working and every other system (ssh, roundcube) allows login with
just passwords.
