Bug #: 52630
Summary: Firefox can't access SSL websites with SNI and client
authentication
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.2.16
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: mod_ssl
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
Classification: Unclassified
Hi.
I found a strange issue _possibly_ in Firefox but maybe there's also something
fishy in Apache.
The whole situation is described here:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=725652
Basically, Firefox can't access SSL vhosts when SNI is used _AND_ client
authentication demanded.
It works with chromium.
Nevertheless,... I have successful SSL/SNI/client_authz setups on other hosts,
where however Apache 2.2.22 is used, linked against 1.0.0g.
Perhaps you can have a look and give some hints.
Cheers,
Chris.
