Bug ID: 68065 Summary: Apache Processes Stuck stuck when graceful reloading Product: Apache httpd-2 Version: 2.4.57 Hardware: PC OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: mpm_event Assignee: bugs@httpd.apache.org Reporter: schnede...@futureweb.at Target Milestone: --- Hi there, We recently updated our CentOS 7.9.2009 server, moving from Apache/2.4.48 (IUS) to Apache/2.4.57 (IUS). However, we've encountered an issue where certain processes become stuck during the reload operation, eating up lot's of CPU and Memory and require manual termination or a complete Apache restart. For more information and details about the issue, please refer to the following resources: Scoreboard: https://www.futureweb.at/userdata/6348/uploads/temp/apache/apache.jpg gdb of a stuck process: https://www.futureweb.at/userdata/6348/uploads/temp/apache/gdb.txt It's worth noting that we have been unable to reproduce this problem with different Apache versions on other servers. This suggests that there might be a bug in the Apache version we're using, as we have not encountered similar problems with previous httpd versions. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to resolving this issue. Thank you!
