httpd server configuration files
httpd version info:
[cust@pusntyj249 ~]$ httpd -v
Server version: Apache/2.4.37 (Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
Server built: Jun 12 2024 05:27:33
We observed that child processes created by httpd server are not getting
terminated which leads to below error in httpd error logs:
[Tue Jan 21 14:05:16.493790 2025] [mpm_prefork:error] [pid 179163:tid AH00161:
server reached MaxRequestWorkers setting, consider raising the
MaxRequestWorkers setting
We also observed that multiple TCP connections are stuck in CLOSE_WAIT state
for multiple httpd server child processes.
Please help us to resolve this issue. We want to know where these processes are
getting stuck inside httpd server.
Please refer the
httpd_conf.tar.gz
httpd_logs.tar.gz
monitor.log (output of netstat, top, free command periodically captured for
10min)
Please let us know if any further details are needed.
