Cleanup for Welcome!
As noted in https://github.com/apache/httpd-site/issues/33, the homepage
claims, without any reference, that:
> The Apache HTTP Server ("httpd") was launched in 1995 and it has been the
> most popular web server on the Internet since April 1996.
There are several ways to evaluate popularity, but even when looking at active
installs on the Internet, according to the March 2026 release of the Netcraft
survey, which our How Apache Came to Be section used as a reference (until last
week), httpd would not even be in the top 2, and would not have been #1 for 7
to 10 years.
The patch attached makes the claim vaguer and generally updates the page,
notably removing the last section, which feels even more dated (the update
mentioned there appears to go back to 2002:
https://web.archive.org/web/20021106190610/https://httpd.apache.org/ ).
