--- Comment #1 from abernal <[email protected]> --- Fix proposed: https://github.com/apache/httpd/pull/882 This is a documentation fix, not a code fix: the behavior is actually correct and already explained in docs/manual/sections.xml ("How the sections are merged") - a SetHandler in <Files>/<FilesMatch> is merged after, and so overrides, one set in <Directory> or .htaccess, even though the .htaccess one looks more specific per-directory. The PR adds a note to SetHandler's own docs cross-referencing that merge order, so this surprise is documented where users actually look.
